I just recently read The Hunger Games.

Katniss volunteers to take her sister’s place.  People say that they don’t think they could do that, that they are too selfish.  I would volunteer for my sister. 100% My mom loves her more and would miss her more. My mother and father have already lost another child. I feel like I would much rather live without them then have them live without her.  I would volunteer for my sister because I love her more than I love myself. I would without a doubt take the place of my sister, but would she do the same for me?
